What is Virtual Credit Card?
VCC (virtual card) is a new way to make payments online that offers protection for both you and the company you are doing business with. Unlike traditional debit or credit cards which store your account information on physical cards, virtual cards do not require any kind of account setup–no bank account numbers required! In fact, they don’t even require an email address.
In the age of data breaches and international identity theft, credit card security has become a very important topic. With companies such as Target, Sony, and Heartland all suffering massive data breaches in recent years, it is now more important than ever to protect your own personal information-
The question is; How?
Enter VCC (virtual card), an innovative new way to make payments online that offers protection for both you and the company you are doing business with. Unlike traditional debit or credit cards which store your sensitive account information on a physical card that can be stolen by anyone who steals it from you, virtual cards do not require any kind of account setup–no bank account numbers or routing numbers required! In fact, they don’t even require an email address.
How does it work?
Virtual Credit Cards use modern E-commerce encryption technology to create temporary credit card accounts that will be deleted at the end of each transaction when all charges have been processed.
Your personal information never has to leave your device during this process so there’s no chance it can be intercepted by cybercriminals while in transit from point A to point B!
How do I create Virtual Card?
There are two ways to create a virtual credit card-
–If you already have an existing account, simply “login” and click the “Virtual Card” option on your dashboard when looking at pending transactions or orders in progress. —–You can also purchase VCCs by clicking this link: [LINK]
What is the difference between using my own info (traditional) vs Virtual Credit Cards?
Traditional cards require that sensitive information be stored on physical cards which can then be lost, stolen, or compromised via data breach if they’re not properly protected from hackers. With Virtual Credit Cards there’s no need for any kind of personal information because everything gets processed electronically so there’s never anything physically transmitted! This means that even if someone intercepts our communication , they only get the VCC information, not your personal details.
What happens if I lose my device?
If someone else gets a hold of your mobile or tablet and tries to use it for an online purchase with their VCCs, the transaction won’t go through because they are not authorized. In addition, any funds that might already have been transmitted will be refunded back onto your account!
And unlike traditional cards where you’re stuck waiting on a new one in the mail (which could take days), virtual cards come pre-loaded when purchased so there’s nothing to wait around for at all!
How do I add Virtual Card in PayPal?
Paypal is a free service that allows users to send and receive payments on the internet. In order for your virtual credit card information to be added, you will need to add it during “sign up” or when updating your profile in PayPal’s settings tab.
What are some other Benefits of using VCC?
No more juggling multiple cards every time you go shopping! When making purchases with Virtual Credit Cards, simply select what type of card you want (Visa, Mastercard) and then follow the prompts just like any normal purchase–no confusion about which one has enough balance left! And because they’re only temporary accounts created while transacting business online, most merchants don’t even require CVV codes anymore so there’s no worries about being tricked!
Where can I use Virtual Card?

–E commerce websites like Amazon, Ebay and Etsy.
–Online retailers such as Nordstroms, Macys or JC Penny’s.
–Booking travel plans with travel sites like Expedia or Vayama.
–Online bill pay services such as Paypal, Quicken Online (US only), and even iTunes purchases.

What are some other disadvantages of using VCC?
Traditional cards are useful for those who don’t have access to a computer or mobile device, as they can be used anywhere.
But, with Virtual Credit Cards, you’re need to be in an area where there is internet access. For those who want a card that they can use anywhere, VCC may not be the best option.
In addition, if your device is lost or stolen and you don’t have a backup phone number to use for Verified by Visa (VbV), it can be difficult or impossible to keep using your account since you need that verification code every time you make a purchase.
Finally, there are some limitations on what types of purchases Virtual Credit Cards can handle–they cannot be used in person at brick-and-mortar locations like Macy’s retail stores worldwide without additional steps taken beforehand.
